This well-meant advice isn’t always wrong, but the problem is that there is no one-size-fits-all to parenting or sleep. I see so many new parents that feel under pressure from family, friends, society, or social media to sort out their babies sleep, to get them onto a schedule even though it might not necessarily work for them, to change the way they feed their baby to get them to sleep longer, and ultimately to question their own parenting instincts.

I don’t use sleep training however I do have a huge amount of knowledge and advice to share with you which will help you guide your baby towards better sleep. It supports natural development and respects biologically normal infant sleep. My approach is holistic, family-centred and primarily focuses on attachment.

My mission is to normalise infant and child sleep and offer attachment-focused and evidence-based sleep support. And I believe that these unrealistic expectations are the reason so many new parents’ struggle. The expectations of how babies are supposed to sleep has shifted in a way that no longer works with what is biologically normal. And thrust me, I know how frustrated you might be trying to get your baby to sleep. I know because I’ve been there!
